The current local product is designed to work without accounts or tracking.
Searches
A postcode or place search is processed to return a result. The application does not currently store search terms or associate them with a user account.
Cookies and analytics
There are currently no user accounts, advertising trackers, analytics scripts or non-essential cookies in the application.
Maps
Postcode reports with a published coordinate load an embedded OpenStreetMap map. Your browser therefore makes a request to OpenStreetMap when you view one of these reports. The postcode coordinate is not personal data, and CheckNear.me does not send an account identifier because the service has no accounts.
Production hosting
A production host may process standard technical request information, such as an IP address and request time, for security and reliability. This page will be updated with the exact provider, retention period and contact details before public launch.
